This is Not a Leader

John McCain is not a man of character who possesses great leadership abilities. He may have been at one time, but he has given in to the worst side of his nature, and what is worse, he is appealing to the worst side of our nature. We need leaders, when our country is teetering on the edge, who can lift our spirits and help us find the best part of ourselves. For the last eight years, our leaders have appealed to the worst part of our nature. They have brought out the worst in this country. They have condoned ignorance, contempt for facts, and they have turned half of the country against the other half.

Now, McCain, the reformer who promises to CHANGE the way things are done in Washington, is following the Bush blueprint only worse. At a rally today, he rhetorically asked, "who is Obama." The audience responded with, "terrorist." McCain just smiled. A real leader, a man of character, would have immediately chastised the audience and lifted the conversation to a higher level even though he completely disagreed with his opponents position.

Palin is using the same strategy. Today, a member of the audience yelled out, "kill him." She said nothing.

Neither one of these people is fit to hold the highest office in the land. Did you ever imagine that there could be the slightest possibility that a man or woman could rise to the office of the presidency during the worst economic crisis of our lifetime by labeling his opponent as a terrorist? Our country is in deep trouble, financially, morally and spiritually. John McCain does not possess the character or leadership to lift us out of this.

You might want to notice the stock market ticker at the lower left of the screen in the clip below as McCain was going off on his slander about Obama.
