Can You Say President Obama?

It's over. Colin Powell endorsed Obama on Meet the Press this morning with a well-reasoned and inspirational seven-minute comparison of the two candidates that lifted this campaign out of the mud. Of the many things he said about Obama, I was most pleased to hear him point out Obama's "intellectual curiosity and vigor" as one of the reasons he's most qualified to be president. He also repudiated the Republican party for the discriminatory actions of many of its elected officials. Watch it below. This is the way to talk about politics.



Contrast that statement made by Powell on Sunday morning with this one made by McCain on Sunday morning:
