Scorched Earth

The scorched earth strategy has begun. Palin pulled out Rev. Wright this morning. That's amazing either for her chutzpa or her stupidity. I'll chalk it up to her chutzpa and her right-wing religious certainty that whatever she does is approved by God. Not sure everyone else will think that way when they find out more about HER pastor who implied that just disagreeing with the George Bush is enough to send you to Hell, and the pastor who prayed over her to protect her from witchcraft.

Our country is tearing apart, and the candidates are bent on destroying each other. Unfortunately, Obama has to respond to these attacks. At the end, it will look like the aftermath of nuclear war. They should both remember that Ralph Nader and Bob Barr will be on the ballots. After we watch this fight, those two could look like attractive protest votes for a lot of people.
